Hey, I’m Jool, the founder of JoolDesigns.

I began web design after attending a html classes. This was something that interested me, and allowed me to show my creativity. My first pages were mainly simple ones, hosted on Yahoo Geocities or Tripod, both free hosts (at least at the time). My skills steadily grew as I experimented and tried new things.

I started JoolDesigns.net in early November 2003, as a continuation of my growth as a web designer. The website features some tutorials I’ve written over the years, some helpful scripts I think people need to know about, and it is basicly my constant on going experiment. I have redesigned it many times over the years, trying new techniques like Adobe Photoshop template slicing, iFrame experiments, CSS based designs. You name, it’s been on there at least once.

Eventually I decided to create a blog, seeing as that is the trendy thing to do and it seems like a good way to experiment and have some fun with web designing. This is where I’ll post just about anything that interests me really, hopefully it won’t annoy you too much.
